There were no surprises on night 1. I thought the rankings fell as expected, with Sawyer and Mia hitting the Top 50. There will be no 10x bonus for any of the singers this week. But on night 2? I totally underestimated Joshua and Brian. It’s the power of the nice & sincere white guy, I tell ya. I thought Joshua’s performance was sleepy. But what do I know? In Brian’s case, his earnest demeanor and the song’s nostalgia factor went a long way, I think. I expected India and Rob to chart higher. I’m disappointed that Rob didn’t even crack the Top 100. I thought he was on fire last night! Caitlin, Lowell, Brooke, Sonic, Tonya and Nathan didn’t crack the Top 200 at the time these numbers were captured.
