The Voice 4- Mac’s Top 5 Power List

Well, America finally did it. Holly Tucker went home. Someone left from Team Blake. The big question is, will ANOTHER person leave from Team Blake this week? Maybe… maybe not.

5) Sasha Allen
I know this is blasphemy to put Sasha this low, but I honestly believe her time is nearing an end. I’m also not sure how many people are leaving this week, so it might be Sasha AND The Swon Brothers, but I think Sasha is more in danger than the Swon Brothers. I feel like we’ve gotten less of an impression of who she is as an artist than any remaining contender. She lays down a sweet R&B track, and then stomps out with Before He Cheats. She’s sending mixed messages to her fans.

4) The Swon Brothers
The Swon Brothers are nothing if not genre consistent. They are 100% country through and through, and if you like that sort of thing, or just simply prefer male vocalists, than the Swon Brothers are right for you. I could see them exiting this week, but I think Sasha is more in danger. The Swon Brothers have a tendency to pick songs that fit with who they are as artists, even if they aren’t vocally stellar performances, whereas Sasha’s song choices are all over the map. There’s something to be said for being versatile, and just being karaoke.

3) Amber Carrington
Amber has allowed herself to be knocked down by Michelle Chamuel, who dominated the Itunes charts last week. Amber has yet to have a top 10 hit, and even though she has come close, she’s falling short of being able to beat Danielle or Michelle in the finale.

2) Danielle Bradbury
Oh, you are SO last week’s news. After two incredibly awful song choices, Danielle failed to make the top 10, and let Michelle steal the spotlight. If Michelle can keep up her last second hurrah to the finish line, our favorite 16 year old might have a tough time winning this thing after all. No one likes an early front runner, and Michelle has given everyone a suitable alternate to vote for.

1) Michelle Chamuel
After breaking into the top 10 on Itunes (and Somewhere Only We Know did pretty well too), Michelle is now the contestant everyone is talking about. Unique, fresh, and a true artist, Michelle interprets songs in a way that no one else left in the competition can even come close. Can Michelle take this home for the win?
