Get a FIRST LOOK at The Voice season 20, including first glimpses of upcoming artists. The new video clip introduces returning coach Nick Jonas. He’ll take his seat for the exiting (for now) Gwen Stefani, next to Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. Carson Daly.
During Nick’s inaugural season 18, “Nick’s Notes” became such a hit with fans, that he will gift each one of his team members with their very own book to scribble in. Of course, Kelly will continue to give away sparkly jackets. Blake jokes that he’ll give away bobble head dolls, that don’t even look like him. Meanwhile, John wrote a little ditty specifically to welcome each of his artists to his team.
Blake, who has been with the show all 20 seasons, insists that while The Voice has made small changes over the last 10 years, it’s still about “talent first.” John adds, “We get to be amazed by new artists that we’ve never heard before.” Kelly says, “A lot of people can sing, but not a lot of people can move me.” Nick shares, “You really have a unique opportunity as a coach to help these incredible artists into the next chapter of their musical journey.”
Watch out for previews of a couple of artists doing their thing for the coaches, hoping for a turn!
The Voice season 20 premieres on NBC Monday March 1.
