The Four 2 Premieres Tonight: James Graham Video and Rebecca Black!

THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM: Contestant James Graham performs in the “Week One” season premiere episode of THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM airing Thursday, June 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. CR: Ray Mickshaw / FOX. © 2018 FOX Broadcasting Co.

The Four: Battle For Stardom returns to FOX tonight (June 7) for Season 2. Once again, challengers will face each other until one remains. The winner receives a record deal with Republic, and will become one of iHeartRadio’s “On The Verge” artists. That association with IHeart typically translates into radio play for the winner. When last season’s champ, Evvie McKinney, releases her first single, iHeart will promote the song across it’s radio network.

Returning to the panel are: Sean “Diddy” Combs; producer DJ Khaled; and recording artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor alongside solo artist Fergie as host.

And a new season means a new group of four artists who will kick off the competition. The artists include R&B singer Carvena Jones, hip hop artist Sharaya J, Latin pop singer Stephanie Zelaya, and former X Factor  UK contestant (member of boyband Stereo Kicks) James Graham

Check out a preview of James performance from tonight’s premiere. He covers Leon Russell’s “Song For You” although Diddy attributes it to another artist who covered it, Donny Hathaway. Runs galore!

Hm. Notice who is sitting there in the corner? That’s James challenger, Rebecca Black. Remember her? When she was only 13, her Youtube performance of “Friday” went viral for all the wrong reasons. Now the young singer is back to redeem herself on The Four stage. Reportedly, she will be covering “Bye Bye Bye” by ‘NSync. I have a feeling this challenge is not going to go very well.

Just telling by the above previews I have no doubt that The Four will continue to annoy me. But we’ll be Live Blogging it here in any case! Who is with me?

Check out a couple of short preview of the season featuring the first four contenders:
