The Amazing Race 35 Recap – Week 4 RESULTS

A new episode of The Amazing Race airs tonight on CBS. Read a live recap here.

The episode picks up with Steve & Anna Leigh continuing the leg. No one was eliminated in the last episode since the leg wasn’t over yet. Steve & Anna Leigh must now proceed to Cafe T? ?i?c to find their next clue. Right behind them are Joel & Garrett and Rob & Corey. Steve & Anna Leigh arrive at the cafe and find out they have a Detour to complete: Stand or Deliver. Stand requires teams to pick up fish from a distributor in a market and then properly display the fish in a stall. Deliver requires teams to pick up four mattresses and deliver them 300 yards to a hotel. Steve & Anna Leigh choose Stand.

Joel & Garrett choose Deliver and are the first to begin delivering mattresses. Rob & Corey choose Deliver, but they get lost on their way there. By the time they find the truck with the mattresses, Todd & Ashlie are already there. At the same time, Joel & Garrett return for their second mattress. The three teams agree to work together to find the hotel. While these teams are working on their Detour tasks, Robbin & Chelsea, Morgan & Lena, Joe & Ian, Greg & John, and Andrea & Malaina are in taxis on their way to the cafe.

Steve & Anna Leigh believe they have the Stand Detour completed, but they do not pass the inspection. They don’t realize that they also need to display eels in a red container by the corner of the green stand. Meanwhile, Jocelyn & Victor and Liam & Yeremi finally get started as they try to catch up to the other teams.

Steve & Anna Leigh finally realize their mistake. They get their next clue and learn they must proceed to Ong Pagoda. After they leave, we see Robbin & Chelsea and Morgan & Lena begin the Stand Detour. Meanwhile, Joe & Ian, Greg & John, and Andrea & Malaina arrive at Cafe T? ?i?c. Joe & Ian choose Deliver. Greg & John and Andrea & Malaina choose Stand.

Joe & Ian get started on the Deliver Detour, and they’re delivering two mattresses at a time instead of one at a time like the other teams. After seeing Joe & Ian run by, Greg & John contemplate switching Detours. They choose to continue the Stand Detour. Meanwhile, Jocelyn & Victor choose the Stand Detour while Liam & Yeremi choose the Deliver Detour. The other teams are working on their Detours. The teams working on the Stand Detour are grossed out by the slimy fish (especially the live eels) while the teams on the Deliver Detour are getting exhausted from the repeated trips.

Steve & Anna Leigh arrive at Ong Pagoda. They receive their next clue and learn they must now make their way to Hung King Temple. Joel & Garrett complete their mattress deliveries and are the second team to arrive at Ong Pagoda. Rob & Corey and Todd & Ashlie are the next teams to finish the Deliver Detour. Joe & Ian go back for their third mattress (they decide to deliver just one mattress at a time this time) while Liam & Yeremi begin their first delivery. They choose to deliver two mattresses at a time.

Steve & Anna Leigh arrive at Hung King Temple. They learn they have a Roadblock to complete. One team member must match a tile to the photo provided. Afterwards, they can make their way to the Pit Stop, which is at Hung King Temple too. The last team to check in will be eliminated. Anna Leigh does the Roadblock.

Morgan & Lena and Robbin & Chelsea complete the Stand Detour around the same time. While they make their way to Ong Pagoda, Rob & Corey and Todd & Ashlie are already there. Joel gets started on the Roadblock while Joe & Ian complete their mattress deliveries and Greg & John complete setting up their fish stand. Later, Corey and Todd get to work on the Roadblock for their teams. Meanwhile, Jocelyn & Victor manage to get ahead of Andrea & Malaina at the Stand Detour. Liam & Yeremi complete their mattress deliveries too.

More teams arrive at the Roadblock. Joe, John, Lena, and Chelsea choose to do the Roadblock. Anna Leigh asks Chelsea if she wants to work together, but Chelsea awkwardly shoots her down. Anna Leigh says it’s noted and she’ll keep that in mind. Almost immediately afterwards, Chelsea is the first to find a match. She and Robbin make their way over to the Pit Stop where Phil awaits. Robbin & Chelsea are Team #1! They win a trip to Madrid, Spain.

Todd, Anna Leigh, and Joe are the next ones to find a match. They can quickly make their way to Phil with their teammates. Steve & Anna Leigh are Team #2, Todd & Ashlie are Team #3, and Joe & Ian are Team #4. While these teams are at the mat, Corey finds a match. Rob & Corey later join the other teams as Team #5.

The rest of the teams finally arrive at the Roadblock. Liam, Victor, and Andrea choose to do the Roadblock for their teams. Liam manages to find a match quicker than teams that have been there longer than him. He and Yeremi greet Phil as Team #6. Andrea and John find matches too. Andrea & Malaina and Greg & John are Team #7 and Team #8 respectively. Joel finally finds a match, making him and Garrett Team #9.

Lena and Victor are the only ones left working on the Roadblock. Morgan is crying as she watches from the sidelines. The next person to find a match will avoid elimination, but which team will that be? Lena finds a match. She and Morgan rush to the Pit Stop and greet Phil as Team #10. Victor finally finds a match, but he and Jocelyn already know they are in last place. Phil gives them the bad news. Jocelyn & Victor have been eliminated from the race. They have no regrets, but they wish the experience lasted longer. They say The Amazing Race has brought them close together too.
