Clarence Clemons Suffers a Stroke (Video with Gaga on Idol)
Here’s some really sad news. Clarence Clemons, famed saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band suffered a serious stroke last night.
He’s in stable condition, but sadly, after a few brain surgeries, he’s reportedly paralyzed on the left side of his body.
Only last month, Clarence performed “Edge of Glory” with Lady Gaga on the American Idol finale. If his condition is as serious as reported, this performance is likely his last public appearance. Watch after the jump.
Lady Gaga & Clarence Clemons to perform “On The Edge of Glory” On The Idol Finale
Clarence Clemons, the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street band played sax on a Lady Gaga track called “On The Edge of Glory”.
According to a tweet from Clemons, he will appear with Gaga on the Idol finale to accompany her as she performs “On The Edge of Glory. “Really look forward to this one!!!” tweets Clemons.
