So You Think You Can Dance Wins Outstanding Reality at TCA Awards (UPDATED)

Congrats to So You Think You Can Dance, which beat out The Glee Project, Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars and The Voice to win Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming at the Television Critics Association awards which took place last night in Beverly Hills.

According to Reality Blurred, the award was accepted by Mary Murphy and Barry Adelman, Dick Clark Productions’ EVP of television, who said that this show was one that Dick Clark loved.

Mary had to run off right after to join Nigel Lythgoe at the Dizzy Feet Gala to celebrate yesterday’s National Dance Day celebration.

The awards recognized the top programs and actors of the 2011-2012 television season. Bryan Cranston, star of AMC’s hit series Breaking Bad, hosted the annual invitation-only event in conjunction with the TCA’s summer press tour. Via TVByTheNumbers
