Scotty McCreery performed a touching rendition of his tribute to military men and women “The Dash” on the PBS’ 2017 National Memorial Day Concert.
The American Idol season 10 winner performed the song on the annual special as part of a tribute to a fallen Vietnam veteran and his family.
“My family and I have always been thankful for the men and women who protect us and lay down their lives to keep all Americans free,” Scotty said in a press release when “The Dash” was released in 2104.
