As the build up to tonight’s CMA Awards continue, Idols Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, and Carrie Underwood made new appearances at rehearsals and the BMI Country Awards, respectively.

David Wild (@Wildaboutmusic) is the CMA head writer and has been tweeting lots of behind the scenes pictures and scoop. Last night he tweeted these new pictures of Scotty McCreery rehearsing for the CMA Awards:

@Wildaboutmusic: This #ScottyMcCreery seems like a nice kid. Who’s heard of him?

@Wildaboutmusic: From what I gather, this #ScottyMcCreery fellow won some sort of talent show.

Meanwhile, Lauren Alaina and Carrie Underwood attended the BMI Country Awards, where Carrie was honored for co-writing 3 of country music’s most performed songs, “Temporary Home,” “Undo It,” and “Mama’s Song.”

While there Lauren met up with Nicolle Galyon, co-writer of “Growing Her Wings” and “Dirt Road  Prayer”, who tweeted this adorable picture of them:

@nicatnitemusic: Just hangin w/ my Dirt Road Prayer sister @lauren_alaina at the #BMIawards. Love this girl.
