Preliminary ratings are in via TVByTheNumbers and it’s good news for both America’s Got Talent and The Voice
NBC had an up night vs. LeBron & Co, as America’s Got Talent was up 17% vs. last season’s premiere notching a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating. With that strong lead in, The Voice rebounded from last week, rising 29% to a 4.9 rating.
An average of 15 million viewers tuned in to watch the America’s Got Talent premiere last night at 8 pm, 14 million for The Voice at 10 pm–its most-watched show of the season.
The Mavs vs Heat NBA playoff game on ABC lead the night in viewers and the demo.
