Piers Morgan Blasts Prince Harry, Meghan. Interview Highlights (Video)

Remember Piers Morgan? The former judge on America’s Got Talent? He left the show after the 2011 season to commit fully to his CNN interview show, which was cancelled in 2014. That was the end of Piers in America.

However, Simon Cowell’s pal still heads a morning interview show for the ITV network in the UK. And anyone who follows Piers knows he is a STAUNCH defender of British monarchy, and therefore despises Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife, with the heat of 10,000 suns.

So, you can imagine how MAD last night’s (March 7) Oprah interview with Harry and Meghan made him. In the blockbuster interview, which aired on CBS, the royal couple, aired ALL the monarchy’s dirty laundry. In early 2020, the couple essentially broke up with the Queen and company to follow their own pursuits in America. The interview revealed that the couples’ relationship with “The Firm” has been strained for quite some time.

Piers response?

“This interview is an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the Queen and the Royal Family. I expect all this vile destructive self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle – but for Harry to let her take down his family and the Monarchy like this is shameful. #OprahMeghanHarry”

“Harry wants America and the rest of the world to hate his own family, hate the Monarchy and hate his country.
I suggest everyone waits for the victims of his wife’s rampage to have their say on her outlandish claims before they do so.”

“Let’s be clear: Prince Harry and his wife just spent two hours trashing everything the Queen stands for & has worked so hard to maintain, whilst pretending to support her.
And they did it while her 99yr-old husband Philip is seriously ill in hospital.
It’s contemptible.”

Good heavens. Somebody hand poor Piers a Snickers. He’s just about lost his mind. On his talk show, Good Morning Britain, this morning, A guest, Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, pretty much ripped him a new one. She calls the royal family an institution rooted in white supremacy and racism.

Probably the biggest bombshell to come out of last night’s interview is the couple’s charge that members of the royal family were worried about how dark skinned the couple’s baby son Archie would be (!!!). Harry had the conversation, but refused to say who with.

Harry did rule out the Queen and her husband Prince Philip, however.

Also, Harry said that racism was a big reason why the couple left the UK. The GMA hosts bring up the interesting point, that palace handlers, worried about their own influence and power, drive much of the gossip.

Meghan had suicidal thoughts at times, but the “institution” refused to help her, because it wouldn’t look good. Pretty horrid stuff.
