James Corden and the members of One Direction played a game Thursday night to see who would be getting a new tattoo live on the Late Late Show.
It went down “Deal or no Deal” style, with each of the band members and James choosing a big red box. The unlucky person who chose the losing box would get inked by a tattoo artist waiting on stage to do his work. If one of the boys lost, they’d receive a “Late Late” tattoo. If James lost, he’d be inked with “1D.”
James made a big deal out of being nervous and scared that he’d have to go around forever branded with the name of a boy band. Niall Horan, who is the only member of the group free of ink, seemed truly nervous he’d lose.
It turned out Harry Styles was the big loser. Not seeming upset at all, he chose to have the words inked close to a much larger tattoo on his arm. Fellow band members, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne could rest easy.
That game had to be a late night talk show first! Watch the hijinks right here.
