Oh the horror! A video has surfaced courtesy of the UK rag, The Daily Mail, that depicts two members of the boyband One Direction possibly SMOKING POT!
Oh the scandal…THE SHAME!!! And…am I supposed to really be shocked by this? Really? It’s not like they’re shooting up eight balls together. Who knows. Maybe the boys leaked it themselves, in an attempt to shake a squeaky clean image. They needed harder drugs than that, though. And maybe a few hookers in the car with them. Just kidding
In the video, Louis Tomlinson is behind the camera filming Zayn Malik as they head down the streets of Peru. They are just about to leave the country after touring there, and light up what looks suspiciously like a joint to celebrate. They pass it back and forth during the filming.
“Leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days,” says Zayn. He also makes joking comments about “Mary J.” Louis points the camera out the window at a motorcycle cop and snarks, “Look at this b-tch! He’s having a look. He’s thinking, ‘I’m sure I can smell an illegal substance in there.’ And he’s hit the nail on the head.”
Various hashtags have been trending on twitter all day Tuesday, including #ZouisPassMeThatBlunt and #ZouisYouLightUpThatJointLikeNobodyElse (a play on a lyric from “What Makes You Beautiful”) (Zouis is the pair’s “ship” name, dubbed by fans).
And of course there’s the overreaction by passionate stans.

There is also, reportedly, a disturbing twitter hashtag trending, #CutForZouis that is often accompanied by photos of self-harm, which is all kinds of inappropriate. Oy. If you’re trending that, back away from the fandom and get yourself some help.
