Ariana Grande tops the Hot 100 for a fifth week with her “Thank U, Next”. The song leads streaming songs with 50.7M (the video is very, very popular). It’s 1-2 for the female singer with Halsey’s “Without Me” moving up to the number 2 spot. That song also tops the Digital charts.

Former Idol judge Mariah Carey has her Christmas song reach new heights this week. “All I Want for Christmas” moves into 6th position. This is the highest-charting holiday song in the last 60 years. “The Chipmunk Song” by David Seville and The Chipmunks topped the chart for 4 weeks starting December 22, 1958 (the Hot 100 chart came into existence on August 4th, 1958). “Auld Lang Syne” by Kenny G went top 7 in 2000 and “This One’s For the Children” from New Kids in the Block went top 7 in 1990. The only other holiday song to go top 10 was Dan Fogelberg’s “Same Old Lang Syne” in 1981.

XXXTentacion tops the BB200 with his new release “Skins”. This is the first posthumous album to hit number one since Prince’s “The Very Best of Prince”.
