The big freeze continues. AC only has a couple of songs that are gaining that are not Christmas songs (one of them is that persistent “Fireflies”). The unit moving monster from the UK, Susan Boyle has managed to reach Top 14 on AC with one of her Christmas songs. CAC is suffering similar Christmas-song invasion issues and HAC is losing stations almost daily. But, it’s not all grim. Kelly Clarkson has become a permanent fixture on the top or the HAC chart where she rules for the fourth week and shows no sign of relinquishing the spot for quite some time. Over on Country, Carrie’s new single goes for adds next week and has already made the Country chart. “Temporary Home” is our biggest rank increaser this week as it moved up 20 spaces. Adam Lambert returns to our chart a week after leaving it by moving into the 50th spot on Top 40.
