Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Nov 28-Dec 4

Just one milestone this week. Lauren Alaina’s debut single off of her debut album has achieved top 40 on Country. “Georgia Peaches” is Lauren’s second top 40 song in that format after her coronation single earlier this year.

Another milestone of sorts is from “Don’t You Wanna Stay”. This duet between Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean helped to fuel sales of his album and crossed over to mainstream radio. The song went recurrent on AC this week and unless it has a new life on Rhythmic, that is likely it for the song. The duet was officially released just over a year ago (November 29th) and first appeared on the chart in the top 50 on November 22nd, 2010. Not many songs stick around that long.

Finally, the Glee Christmas songs are kicking around on the AC chart. They now have 4 songs in the top 50.
