Six milestones to kick of the first Monday of April.
Two milestones from American Idol winners this week. Trent Harmon, the last winner, debuts “You Got ‘Em All” on the Country chart. This is also the title to his upcoming album. Over on AAA, Phillip Phillips from season 11 moves his “Into the Wild” (second single from his latest album) into the top 40 on AAA.
There are also two milestones from Fifth Harmony members. While Camila has formerly left the group, Normani is just on hiatus. Camila’s “Never be the Same” (second single from her debut solo album) is top 20 on HAC this week. Normani paired up with Khalid for a song on the “Love, Simon” soundtrack and the song “Love Lies” went top 40 on Pop.
Over on AC, we have Liam Payne from the X-Factor. He released “Strip that Down” back on May 19, 2017 and the song notches a new achievement this week – debuting on the AC chart. The song was his first, and most successful, solo single.
Finally, we have Jeff Gutt, also from X-Factor, who is now the lead singer for the “Stone Temple Pilots”. Their latest single, “Roll me Under” debuts on the Active Rock chart this week. They have two songs currently on that chart.
Jack White tops the BB200 with “Boarding House Reach” – his third number one album. With 121K in album sales (124K combined), he has the second best selling week for an album in 2018. The 121K includes 27K in Vinyl LPs. With the release of “The Greatest Showman” DVD, the soundtrack featuring The Voice’s Loren Allred climbs back up to 4th. Camila Cabello’s “Camila” returns to the top 10.
