Monday Morning Mediabase 03/22/2021

Five milestones this Monday Morning following the start of Hollywood Week.

Gabby Barrett achieves her second top 5 hit on Country radio with her second single. “The Good Ones” went top 5 this weekend while her original hit “I Hope” is still in the top 5 on AC after crossing over. Gabby was on the first season of the revived Idol on ABC where she finished third.

Vedo is from The Voice and he hits double milestones with his latest single “You Got It”. The song goes top 10 on Urban and top 20 on Urban AC. Koryn Hawthorne is also from The Voice and her “Speak to Me” returns to the top 15 on Urban AC.

The Dutch invented The Voice format and their Duncan Laurence is tearing up the charts with his Eurovision winner. “Arcade” went top 30 on HAC and top 15 on AC this week. It is also set to go for adds on Pop. “Work From Home” from Fifth Harmony returns to the AC chart.

“Dangerous: The Double Album” from Morgan Wallen spends a 10th week at the top of the BB200. The album earned 69K in equivalent albums (-11%) with 64K SEAs (-10%, 88.85M), 4K in sales (-30%) and 1K TEAs (-9%). No album has spent its first 10 weeks on the top of the BB200 since “Whitney” from Whitney Houston way back in 1987. That album spent 11 weeks. The only other album to ever achieve this milestone is Stevie Wonders “Songs In the Kely of Life” in 1976/77 (first 13 weeks). Morgan is the first to achieve it in the Soundscan era (starting in 1991). Morgan got his start on The Voice.
