Fresh off yesterday’s news that Kree Harrison and Cassadee Pope will perform on the Nationwide Insurance Stage at next Wednesday’s CMT Music Awards, Season 5 American Idol finalist and Dancing With The Stars champ Kellie Pickler, Season 10 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, and Season 12 American Idol judge Keith Urban have been announced as presenters at the CMT Music Awards. Also presenting will be Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne on Nashville.
Keith will also perform on the show, as will Season 4 American Idol champ Carrie Underwood, who is nominated for Video Of The Year (“Blown Away”) and Female Video Of The Year (“Two Black Cadillacs”). Season 1 American Idol champ Kelly Clarkson is also nominated for Collaborative Video Of The Year (“Don’t Rush” with Vince Gill).

NASHVILLE – May 30, 2013 – The 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS promises to be nothing short of an entertainment-filled night as “Nashville” star Charles Esten, CMT’s DOG AND BETH: ON THE HUNT stars Duane “Dog” & Beth Chapman, CMT ONE COUNTRY spokespeople Florida Georgia Line, country superstar Keith Urban, recent “Dancing with the Stars” champion Kellie Pickler, musical duo Kevin & Michael Bacon of The Bacon Brothers, CMT’s BOUNTY HUNTERS co-star Larry the Cable Guy, Lisa Marie Presley and Scotty McCreery are all set to present at this year’s show. The 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will air LIVE on Wednesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com.
Leading up to country music’s first fan-voted awards show, FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR and BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO OF THE YEAR nominee Jana Kramer will host the 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS VIDEO OF THE YEAR SPECIAL premiering Saturday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m., ET/PT. Kramer will present the nominees for the coveted VIDEO OF THE YEAR category in the one-hour special.
Hosted by Jason Aldean and Kristen Bell, the 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will include performances by Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, George Strait, Hunter Hayes, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift. Fans can vote online now at CMT.com, and on their mobile device at CMT Mobile or the CMT Insider app available on iPhone, iPad and Android now through June 2 to determine the winners. The six finalists for VIDEO OF THE YEAR will be announced at the beginning of the live show and fans can then vote at CMT.com, CMT mobile, on the CMT Insider app and via text message throughout the live telecast (ET/CT only) to determine the night’s big winner.
Prior to the main event, the hottest stars in country, rock and pop culture entertainment will step out in their designer best at the 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS RED CARPET, hosted by CMT’s Cody Alan, Katie Cook and Allison DeMarcus LIVE on Wednesday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. The CMT hosts will report live from the star-studded red carpet with exclusive interviews, candid moments and a first look at the fashion choices of the night’s biggest stars.
Veteran live event producer Michael Dempsey returns to executive produce the 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS alongside director Joe DeMaio. John Hamlin and Margaret Comeaux serve as executive producers for CMT.
