The Season 9 American Idol auditions judges’ round is taking place in Dallas today.
The guest judge, taking ex-idol judge, Paula Abdul’s place, is teen pop sensation, Joe Jonas from the Jonas brothers.
According to the Dallas News, they had to do a bit of snooping to find out where the auditions were taking place:

The Fox producers want to keep this part of the tryouts under wraps, so it’ll be fresh when they air the show from the Dallas auditions. Only the local Fox affiliate, KDFW-TV (Channel 4), gets access.
In fact, the normally helpful PR folks at the Fox network wouldn’t tell us when and where this round of the tryouts would be. Since the auditions were at the W two years ago, we made a lucky guess. And thanks to Joe Jonas’ publicists, we knew the event was today.
