Idol Sales News – Week Ending 01/08/12

Now with Idol album and Download numbers.

HDD predicts three Idols will be in the top 50 in album sales. How many will remain in the top 200? Can Kelly make top 15? Can Scotty stay in the top 25? And what is happening to those digital sales? Have all the gift cards been redeemed or are people still buying a lot of downloads? What will be the average percentage drop for album sales? Last week had the biggest drop, but expect a pretty healthy drop this week as well (in the 30% range). Sales will keep dropping until the Grammys.

This is the daily numbers thread. Please post numbers as you find them.
