Casey Abrams, the bearded bass player who was season 10’s recipient of the judges’ save, was also hospitalized during his time on the show, due to his struggles with ulcerative colitis. Speaking about Phillip, he tells ABC News Radio, “I have no idea how he’s gonna survive tour, to be honest with you. I wish the best for him, but it’s grueling…it’s grueling.” – Read more at ABC News Radio
