Siobhan Magnus is ‘crazy’ about Steven Tyler on ‘Idol’

Since wrapping up her “Idol” obligations, Magnus has been rehearsing with her band, Lunar Valve, and they will debut a new song “Where Demons Lie” at Sunday’s big Halloween celebration in Hyannis. She’s also pursuing a possible role on Broadway and is writing a children’s book.

“I’ve got a few different crazy ideas, ” she said.

She’d like to bring her uncle’s show “A Night At The Rock Opera” to the Great White Way, she’d like a record deal with her band — but first they must find a manager — and she’s working with the publishing arm of “Idol’s” agents on a kid’s book based on a silly Dr. Seuss-style poem she wrote for one of the show’s contestant minders.

“They’ve lowered the tryout age to 15. I was 20 when I was there and it was scary when they were really mean, so I can’t imagine being 15, ’’ she said.

GQ’s Bald 100 Power List

Sure, power lists are great — the ones we read in Forbes, Time. But how about a pop culture power list solely featuring chrome-domed gentlemen?

The magazine’s supremely-witty rundown of the most powerful baldies includes Howie Mandel, Seal, Homer Simpson, Billy Corgan, Chris Daughtry, Dick Cheney and the Dalai Lama. Celebs, athletes, politicians, CEOs — everyone’s on this thing, with witty reasons as to why. Some of the best are Bruce Willis — “he wrote the book on virile baldness”; George Foreman — “remembered more for knocking out fat than knocking out Joe Frazier”; and Moby — “found fame as a geek techno-artist; has a passion for both LSD and the teachings of Christ.”

‘Glee’ Is A ‘Goldmine’ For The Music Industry, Experts Say

“The industry has definitely started paying attention. If you’re a songwriter or music publisher, you’re definitely promoting your songs to the show, ” said Jeff Brabec, vice president of business affairs for music publisher Chrysalis, which has landed songs by the likes of Billy Idol and Paul Anka on “Glee.” “It’s truly something different, because, of course, there are downloads, and the albums, which have been phenomenally successful, especially for TV soundtracks, but … there are so many other opportunities [the show] presents. For a songwriter or a music publisher, ‘Glee’ is a goldmine. It touches almost every single source of income that’s possible.”

Backstage at DWTS: Tonight’s Eliminee Is a Sore Loser—No, Really!

Spoiler Alert! The Situation is no more. Sad face—we were actually loving the non-Jersey Shore version of Mike Sorrentino. Unfortunately, we didn’t have to chance to say that to The Sitch after the show tonight because he took off right away—before doing any interviews with the press. FYI, that never happens with DWTS eliminees!

But wait, there might actually be a good reason behind his disappearance (you know, besides a bruised ego). We’re hearing Mike was having some health woes all day, and just couldn’t hang postshow.
DWTS, Mike Sorrento, Karina Smirnoff ABC/ADAM LARKEY

“He had either a wisdom tooth or sore throat hurting him the whole day, ” his partner Karina Smirnoff tells us.
