Adam Lambert & Kris Allen: They Want to Record Together!
For the next three months or so, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen will be spending a lot of time with each other crisscrossing the country on the American Idol tour.
It’s no wonder that the two say we shouldn’t be surprised if, in the end, they decide to record a song together.
“It could happen, ” Lambert told me yesterday during my exclusive sitdown with him and Allen. “Maybe we’ll write a song on the road.”
Allen smiled, “We have to figure it out, but yeah, we should do it.”

Arlington, TX (myFOXla.com) – It seems like the show just ended, but it’s starting up again. Thousands of “American Idol” hopefuls pack Arlington’s Cowboy Stadium for a thirty second try-out. And if they make an impression, they’ll get another chance to try out, but that time it will be in front of four judges. Fox’s Steve Noviello reports.
Jackson A Big Influence At American Idol Tryouts
For many, Michael Jackson is the indisputable King of Pop – an original American Idol. Jackson is credited with forever altering music and influencing today’s current artists.
Perhaps nowhere is his memory more alive than with aspiring pop singers at the new Cowboys Stadium.
Friday thousands flooded the stadium in hopes of becoming the next American Idol. As many auditioned they said they were inspired by Jackson.
“It hurt me a lot. He was my one idol, out of everyboy, and it hurt me a lot, ” Breana Angellc said after auditioning for the show.

As Montgomery Gentry’s warm-up act, Kellie Pickler sashayed across the stage for 14 songs in skin-tight jeans and glittery high heels.

Contestants bare all at ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ callbacks
Ellie Soto of Mesa is an old pro when it comes to the world of “So You Think You Can Dance” auditions.
“I’ve done it three times, and I still get tummy butterflies, ” said Soto, 21, a communications major at Arizona State University. “It just makes you nervous.”
But the chance of appearing on the popular Fox series makes the butterflies worthwhile. Producers began holding auditions on Friday in Phoenix for the sixth season of the show, which will premiere Sept. 16. More than 450 people showed up on the first day; about 240 made the cut for callbacks on Saturday and Sunday.
Exclusive Interivew: Asuka Kondoh of So You Think You Can Dance
This morning I had the pleasure of chatting with Asuka Kondoh, the latest dancer to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance.
Asuka was a pre-season favorite, especially with head judge Nigel Lythgoe, who could not get enough of the sexy Latin Ballroom dancer. Unfortunately, Asuka seemed to peak during the audition process, during her three weeks on the show she danced for her life twice. But don’t feel too sorry for Asuka, during her short time on So You Think You Can Dance she worked with one of her ballroom idols, Louis Van Amstel, on a routine that had Mary Murphy in tears.
‘SYTYCD’: Cat Deeley blogs episode 10
I don’t know how we’re doing it …. But we’re all still standing …. Just about!
We’re filming season 5 and holding auditions for season 6 at the same time — sleep deprivation has become the phrase du jour! Last week I flew to New Orleans straight after the show, landed at 8 a.m. and was filming by 10:30 a.m. But the one thing about the So You Think You Can Dance team is we work hard and we play hard! There was fabulous vintage shopping at Miss Claudia’s, cocktails and gossip with the divine Sandra Bullock, and delicious beignets and coffee at 3:30 a.m. at Cafe du Monde! Adam Shankman was ring master as the circus moved from jazz bar, to blues club and onto the dance floor! I think it’s fair to say a fun night was had by all! We also discovered some hugely talented dancers, which of course was the real reason we were there. There was definitely some Top 20 potential!
