Proud mother Jennifer Hudson brings her little star David Jr on stage
Oscar and Grammy winning artist Jennifer Husdon is making sure that her career isn’t getting in the way of motherhood.
The 29-year-old took to the stage last night for the 104.5 CHUM FM show at Holder House in Barbados and took her 18-month-old son David Jr along for the ride.
As Jennifer sang she took the little boy on to the stage and even handed him the microphone so he could address to the crowd.

Simon Cowell ‘helping hide money’ for property tycoon, court told
Simon Cowell is among wealthy people helping a property tycoon hide his money, an estranged wife alleged at the High Court today.
High-profile businessman Sir Philip Green and restaurant empire owner Richard Caring were also named by Michelle Young.
Mrs Young is seeking maintenance for herself and their two teenage daughters from Scot Young, who says he is broke.
Today she told Family Division judge Mr Justice Mostyn at London’s High Court that her husband was worth £2 billion, but business friends and associates were helping him keep his assets secret and protecting him.

Ryan Seacrest busting a ‘Dance Scene’ move? Not likely
Laurieann Gibson may be the boss of all who move on her show, “The Dance Scene, ” which premiered on E! Sunday (April 10), but her boss, Ryan Seacrest, will not be strutting any moves any time soon in front of the camera.
Gibson, choreographer to the stars — Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Diddy to name just a few — says her executive producer, Seacrest, has no plans to be on the show. Still she hasn’t quite giving up on teaching him a step or two.
“I am going to give him lessons when my show is a hit, ” Gibson says.

L.A. Reid Says It’s Easy To Spot Someone With ‘The X Factor’
“The judges will all compete with each other, ” Reid told Access Hollywood on Monday in New York of the big twist that makes “The X Factor” different from “American Idol.” “We’ll all mentor talent and then we’ll kind of compete with each other, so you take the likes of me and I’m competing with the likes of Simon Cowell and that makes for interesting television.”
Reid confirmed that, like the British version of the show, the judges will each “pick categories” of singers and “then they compete and we compete.”
The former Def Jam Recordings boss said he’s very aware of how to spot someone who has “The X Factor, ” thanks to years of experience.
“I usually do… I can tell if they have it and sometimes they really surprise me, ” he said.

L.A. Reid: Leaving Def Jam For ‘X Factor’ Is ‘Still Difficult’
“I loved the artist roster that we created at Island Def Jam and I love the company and yes, it was difficult. It still is difficult, ” he told MTV News on Monday (April 11). “This morning I heard about a remix that Rihanna did with Britney Spears [for ‘S&M’] and I was like, ‘It’s the first time some music has been done that I wasn’t involved with and I don’t know if I like that or not.’ I don’t know.”
It wasn’t so much that Rihanna and Spears hooked up on the track as that someone other than him made that decision. “I don’t like anybody tampering with my Rihanna, ” he joked. “Doesn’t matter [what the song sounds like]! I didn’t do it. No, I think it’ll be great, but it was very difficult to leave. It wasn’t difficult to decide to do ‘X Factor, ‘ it was difficult to walk away from this amazing roster and amazing staff of people and all the executives that were there that was tough.”
