Was Idol’s Naima A Stripper?
Never mind her singing, it’s American Idol castoff Naima Adedapo’s sexy dance moves that captured the attention of viewers — especially one in particular.
Dave Fuhr, a businessman in Naima’s hometown of Milwaukee and former manager of the now closed local strip club Rickey’s, tells Star that the moment he first saw Naima on TV, “I knew she looked familiar.… Then I realized it was probably the same young woman named Naima who danced at Rickey’s for just a couple weeks sometime in 2005.”
A second source, a former dancer at Rickey’s, also tells Star, “I knew her as soon as I saw her on Idol, and she’s just as pretty now. I think she danced at Rickey’s to make some extra cash while she was going to college. It wasn’t that risqué — it was topless, but we had to wear pasties!” A rep for Fox declined to comment.

‘American Idol’ Prediction Results: Naima And Thia Booted? We’ll Take It
In honor of baseball season, let’s start out this “American Idol” prediction results story with a boys of summer analogy. If we were stepping up to the plate to swing the lumber on a crisp spring afternoon instead of hiding behind our monitors under bad fluorescent bulbs yesterday, we would have opened the 2011-2012 season batting .500.
Yeah, we all missed the boat in speculating that cheesy whiz kid Stefano Langone was going to safely float out of the waterlogged “Idol” mansion this week, but we all correctly called the end of the line for Naima Adedapo. Suspecting that her reggae queen shtick was too much for America, all three of our “Idol” experts said she would get the red, yellow and green boot. And we all picked treacly teen Thia Megia as a bottom dweller, but none of us, not one, ever expected toothy grinner Paul McDonald would land in the washout zone over corny crooner Langone!

American Idol Predictions
Pia Toscano has the most polished voice, but we haven’t seen her stray too much from ballads. If she could do something up tempo from the pop music genre, and nail it, she might win it all. And although she’s got super-model good looks, she doesn’t own the stage.
Stefano Langone. He’s not in the top four. Decent voice, but doesn’t have the “it.” He’ll say good-bye next week.

In Memoriam: American Idol’s Two Newest Losers
Since the judges saved Casey Abrams and his un-musical growls last week, American Idol was forced to eliminate two contestants during the results show on Thursday night. Oh, the terror. Who got the boot? Was it Paul McDonald and his jaunty floral suit? Was it Stefano Langone and his televangelist stage actions? Or was it Lauren Alaina, Thia Megia, James Durbin, or our flawless breakdancing orchid Naima Adedapo?

Carrie Underwood Reveals Secret to Avoiding Pregnancy Rumors
“[I] choose my wardrobe differently because when I wear something a little baggier, I’m like, nope, people are going to think I’m hiding something, so I better not wear that, ” she explains. “So it does make me kind of think a little extra.”
Now that Fisher, 30, has been traded from the Ottawa Senators hockey team to the Nashville Predators, the formerly long-distance newlyweds just want to spend quality time alone with each other.
“Now we’re just having fun, and we should, ” Underwood says with a smile. “I’m 28. I’m not a lot older and like, need to have kids now. We have plenty of time.”

7 Minutes in Beauty Heaven:
Sure, Carrie Underwood won American Idol, has truckloads of Grammy awards and recently married hot hockey player Mike Fisher—but even though she lives a charmed life, this girl is impossible to hate. (Come on, she grew up on a farm!) We caught up with Carrie to talk about her gig as the spokesperson for Vitaminwater—and smiled and nodded when she gave the pink drink credit for her amazing skin (as if good genes have nothing to do with it!). But mostly we gabbed about shiny foreheads, hot dates and feeling sexy. Real girl stuff, you know?

Can Taylor Swift finally beat Carrie Underwood at the Academy of Country Music Awards?
Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” (2008) won album of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, but she’s never won best female vocalist or any other top ACM prize for that matter. Now she battles her toughest foe, Carrie Underwood, for the crown as best female vocalist at the kudocast to be televised Sunday night in Las Vegas (CBS, 8 p.m. PT/ET).
In 2007, Swift won an ACM trophy as a new vocalist, but Underwood claimed the top prize as best female vocalist that year. Underwood also won in 2006 and 2008. Last year, Swift and Underwood lost to the hottest new country diva on the block: Miranda Lambert. Now Swift, Lambert and Underwood face off against Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack. Womack’s never won. McEntire holds the record in the category with seven wins, but the last was way back in 1996.
