“Dancing with the Stars” KICKS OFFWITH HUGE OPENING PERFORMANCE FEATURING MUSIC SUPERSTAR JASON DERULO ON THE HIGHLY-ANTICPATED SEASON PREMIERE, MARCH 17 ON ABC – “Dancing with the Stars” is back, and for the first time ever the show will premiere with a massive opening number featuring all pro dancers as they perform live with musical guest Jason Derulo. Derulo will sing his mega hit song “Talk Dirty,” marking the first time ever a musical guest has accompanied a season’s opening number. Each couple will then perform a Cha Cha, Foxtrot or Contemporary routine, vying for America’s vote. The two-hour season premiere begins MONDAY, MARCH 17 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The Birmingham resident earned a Grammy nomination that year, had a No. 1 record, appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and became one of the most famous faces in the nation. “I would have been so thankful to just have a record contract,” Studdard, 35, says today. “That’s all I actually had in the scope of my career. I didn’t think, ‘I want to be a superstar.’ I just wanted to have a record contract where I make records and people respect me as a musician. Juan Pablo Galavis Hits Vegas Before Bachelor Finale – While he might be fighting for his reputation after The Bachelor’s explosive Women Tell All episode, Juan Pablo Galavis saw a real fight on Saturday. Two nights before the season finale, Galavis was in Las Vegas to take in the Jorge Linares vs. Nihito Arakawa boxing match at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Flanked by two friends, Galavis, 32, drove to Las Vegas – documenting his road trip on Twitter – and immediately headed to the MGM’s wedding chapel to jokingly take a picture in front of it. – Read more at People
