‘X Factor’ winners Alex and Sierra receive key to Daytona Beach – About 1,000 fans crowded into the Bandshell on Thursday evening to celebrate local pop music duo Alex and Sierra for winning the latest season of “The X Factor” and the $1 million recording contract that goes with it. Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry proclaimed this as “Alex and Sierra Week” and presented an official key to the city to 22-year-old New Smyrna Beach singer-guitarist Alex Kinsey and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Orlando singer-pianist Sierra Deaton.
