INSP Announces Destinations for Season 2 of State Plate – New Episodes of the Award-Winning Culinary Travel Series, Hosted by Entertainer Taylor Hicks, to Premiere This Summer. Including: Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Iowa, Maryland, Vermont, Minnesota, Oregon, New York, South Dakota, and Washington. RIVR Media continues as producer of State Plate and they plan to begin shooting new episodes this spring. The series is scheduled to premiere on INSP in late summer 2017.

Getting to know the 2016 LA Music Critic Award winners – Allison Iraheta – We had a delightful time interviewing Allison Iraheta, who appeared on season 8 of American Idol and was originally signed to Jive Records. Many of her greatest achievements, though, have been accomplished after she became an indie artist. Iraheta was the winner of the Best Pop/Rock Female Artist for the first half of 2016, primarily on the strength of her band’s single, “Desire (Lo Que Vale La Pena).” Iraheta and Halo Circus also finished second in the Fan Favorite category. – Read more at LA Music Critic.com

Serial Burglar Found Guilty of Raid on Simon Cowell’s Home – A habitual burglar has been found guilty of stealing nearly 1 million pounds ($1.25 million) of jewelry from the home of entertainment mogul Simon Cowell. Darren February was convicted Monday at Isleworth Crown Court in London. February was convicted of breaking into Cowell’s London home in December 2015 while the American Idol judge and his family were sleeping. February already had 37 burglary convictions.
