Ryan Seacrest Signs on as ‘Today’ Correspondent – Ryan Seacrest has officially joined up with Matt Lauer and the rest of the “Today” show team. Seacrest will serve as a special correspondent on the morning-TV staple, NBC said Friday.The correspondent job is part of a new multi-platform deal with NBCUniversal. The two-year deal also extends Seacrest’s on-air hosting duties for NBCU property E!, as well has his broadcasting and producing duties for NBC, which include news, entertainment and sports programming. Seacrest contributes to NBC primetime news and NBC entertainment programming. Beginning with this summer’s London games, the “American Idol” host will also pitch in with the network’s Olympics coverage. – Read more at The Wrap

Ryan Seacrest’s Hollywood Hills West estate back on the market – Ryan Seacrest has put his gated Hollywood Hills West estate back on the market at $11.985 million. The “American Idol” host had tried to sell it in late 2010 for $14.95 million.
The 10,000-square-foot Mediterranean, built in 1974, sits behind wrought-iron gates on nearly an acre of hilltop with canyon and city views. Remodeled during his ownership, the villa features beamed ceilings, a bar, a screening room, a wine cellar and a gym. There are six bedrooms and 61/2 bathrooms.
