‘The Voice’ winner Jake Hoot to perform at Texas A&M homecoming party in Corpus Christi – NBC’s “The Voice” Season 17 champion Jake Hoot will headline Texas A&M University Corpus Christi’s Homecoming Block Party in late February. The university announced earlier this month the Corpus Christi native will perform a free concert Saturday, Feb. 29 at the American Bank Center parking lot No. 3 for this year’s homecoming celebration. The block party will include family-friendly games and activities, a petting zoo, inflatables and food trucks, according to the university’s website.
