Last week, the top 10 was bereft of debut albums. This week, the top 10 is littered with them. All but two albums are debut albums. One of those, of course, is Adele’s 21 which continues to top the chart in a convincing fashion. The other is Jason Aldean’s album which is being driven by his new single on country and his duet with Kelly Clarkson crossing over into HAC. The album sits currently at 6th.
The top debuting album right now, is NOW 38 at number 2. The fine folks at HDD are predicting that it will end up being the Beastie Boys’ “Hot Sauce Committee, Pt 2” which is currently at 4th. Nestled in at number 3 is Idol Judge, JLo. Her “Love?” is expected to finish with 60-65K which is not really all that great considering her big appearance on Idol last week, charting on four charts and her top 10 Pop hit. Hmm..
The rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Stevie Nicks (5), Sade (7), Cold Ford (8), Musiq SouldChild (9) and SIXX A.M> (10).
Jennifer Hudson continues to be the sole solo Idol on the list with her “I Remember Me” currently at 27th. There are a couple of Glee albums as well.
