Who cares that NBC banned the Glee kids from performing at the cheesy Thanksgiving Day Parade after the group had been invited by parade organizers. The kids have just lined up a much sweeter gig.
Fox has confirmed the cast will sing the National Anthem at the upcoming World Series game, airing on Fox (of course!).
The kids are set to perform the Anthem for Game 3 of the series, currently scheduled for October 31.
The game will be in either Los Angeles or Philadephia, depending on which team ends up in the series against American Leeither the Yankees or the Angels.
According to the LA Times, Fox had to get a green light from Major League Baseball to have the cast sing at the game. Apparently, it’s unusual to have a cast of a show perform during the game.
