All this week, Glee has been shooting episode 13 titled ‘New Directions” It’s part 2 of the 100th episode celebration that begins with “100” the week before. The plot revolves around the seniors of McKinley High as they get ready to graduate and say goodbye to Lima, Ohio.
Once again, Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) Dianna Agron (Quinn), Heather Morris (Brittany), Mark Salling (Puck), and Amber Riley (Mercedes) reunite with the regular cast for part 2.
But, if the song spoilers are any indication, there’s going to be very little newbie action this week! And then it’s goodbye to the new faces–Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Blake Jenner (Ryder), Alex Newell (Unique) and Becca Tobin (Kitty) as the storyline moves to New York City for episode 14 and beyond.
Also returning this week: Gwyneth Paltrow as Holly Holiday! She performs a huge 80s style disco number, “Party All Night” by Eddie Murphy, with Matt Morrison (Will), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Lea Michele (Rachel), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Mark Salling (Puck) and Darren Criss (Blaine).
A spoilery bit:
From EOnline: “Before we leave McKinley High behind for good (feel free to celebrate or sob), we’ll be meeting a new cutie who just so happens to be a Christ Crusader. (Hmm…anyone else thinking new love interest for a certain Cheerio?) Expect to meet the new C.C. in the second part of the milestone 100th episode.” (Sounds like Kitty finds a new man, considering Artie (Kevin McHale) is likely heading to New York City.)

The duet Naya and Lea are singing is “Be OK” by Ingrid Michaelson
The “Disco Number” is “Party All Night” by Eddie Murphy. The number was shot in a disco setting, with the Glee originals dressed in 80’s fashion! See the photos below.
The Glee cast tweeted tons of photos from Thursday’s massive shoot of “Party All Night”. Check them out!

Spoilers report LOTS of Puck and Quinn in both “100” and “New Directions”. A rekindling of the romance?

Although, there’s not that many late glee nights left for me. Maybe I’ll just soak this one in… — John Lock (@TheJohnLock) February 1, 2014
John Lock is the drummer in the McKinley High Jazz band. As the storyline moves to New York City, he’ll be losing his job, along with the newbies.
