Simon Cowell revealed that the X Factor judges panel would not stay the same if FOX renewed the show (He insists they will). Now, it looks like Demi Lovato will be one of the changes, if People magazine sources are correct:
Demi Lovato is leaving The X Factor, a source close to the singer tells PEOPLE.
The reason? “She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music,” says the source.
“She had a great run and a good time,” says the source. But the show’s demanding schedule conflicts with the singer’s plans for 2014.
The singer has a six episode contract with Glee that will end soon. She has stated that she’ll leave Glee to focus on her career.
The question is: Jumped or pushed? Maybe Demi has determined that X Factor isn’t helping her singing career. Or maybe Simon wants to make another huge clean sweep next year.
Or maybe this bit of gossip is false. We’ll find out!
