David Cook made his way back to Kansas City on Thursday to to play a concert at the Ameristar Star Pavilion to an enthusiastic hometown crowd.
While there, he delighted the students at his Blue Springs, MO high school with a performance at a surprise assembly, and then, prior to the Ameristar concert, David witnessed the unveiling of the new highway signs that will greet visitors as they enter town on I-70.
…It kind of a trip, Cook said about having his own highway signs. …It extremely humbling to come home to this and have something like this happen.
