Bon Jovi and Daughtry are set to perform on Idol May 12, according to Mix 104.1. The station is holding a contest to send a lucky listener to Los Angeles for the show.
But, before you assume that the Top 4 will be “Rock Week”, I heard that the theme will actually be “Movie Week, ” per Jon Bon Jovi, who revealed the news in an interview on New York’s WPLJ a few weeks ago.
Jon said the band would be performing 2 songs, including “Blaze of Glory” because it was nominated for an Oscar and won a Golden Globe…
No word yet on what Daughtry will be singing. But it’s a good bet it will be either the band’s current single, “Life after You” or “September”, the new single.
