Dancing With The Stars 15 – All Stars Premiere – Recap and Videos

I’ll be live blogging the Dancing With The Stars All Stars premiere tonight!

Emmy Winner Tom Bergeron (!!) and co-host Brooke Burke introduce the All-Stars!

Six former champions will be competing!

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson – Cha Cha – He was the runner up to Apollo. Ha ha ha. He still dances like a boybander. That’s not to say Joey is bad, he’s just super duper cheesy. Which is fitting, if you think about it. Len says the judging is going to be a little tougher. The scoring will change to a half point system. He loved watching Joey dance, even if his posture was a little funny. Bruno also notes his problematic posture. Carrie loves his showmanship. Carrie Ann – 6.5 Len – 7 – Bruno – 7 – 20.5 1-800-868-3401

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough – Foxtrot – She had Mark before. But she doesn’t mind. She shouldn’t! Derek is much better. That was the funnest, least elegant foxtrot I’ve ever seen. I thought they were going to bust out into a Jive or something. Bruno says “That Foxtrot was so fully loaded. Sex appeal. Stylistically, it has to be a little more defined.” Carrie Ann says, “That is what All-Stars Season is all about. We have the right to be a little more creative.” Len says, “What you did, you did well. For me, it didn’t really feel or look like a Foxtrot. You’re a good dancer.” Shawn had to retire from gymnastics because of a bad knee Carrie Ann – 8 Len 0 6.5 Bruno – B 7.5 – 22 – 1-800-868-3402

Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel – Cha cha cha – Sabrina was voted in by the viewers. She was shockingly eliminated in week six her season. Yeah. She’s a good dancer. Carrie says, ‘You are on fire! You kicked that dance’s booty. Sometimes you overdance.” Len says, “It was clean and it was surprise. It needs fineness as well (The crowd boos Len)” Bruno says, “You were an unleashed fury on the dance floor, but you missed a few passes.” Carrie Ann – 7.5 Len – 7.5 Bruno – 7.5 – 22.5 – 1-800-868-3403

Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower – Foxtrot – He WON Season 5. He’s doing it again for his little daughter. He’s a very charismatic dancer, this Helio. Len says “You should be proud of that. Turn out your feet. But it was good.” Bruno says, “You have such a bright and engaging presence, though you did mess up quite a bit.” Carrie Ann says, “Your charisma was so infectious. Work on more body contact.” Carrie Ann – 7 Len – 7.5 Bruno – 7 – 21.5 – 1-800-868-3404

Pamela Anderson and Tristan McManus – Cha cha cha – Pam Anderson? Yeah. CANNON FODDER. Pam has a look on her face like she just smelled something bad. Bruno says, “You have to put the work in to go all the way. There wasn’t enough work there to really praise you. Work harder.” Carrie Ann says, “You were definitely living the drama, but the body wasn’t quite there. Get back to work.” Len says, “It was like a kid on a bike when you take the training wheels off.” She wasn’t a popular dancer when she competed before, I don’t think that will change this time. – Carrie Ann – 5.5 Len – 5.5 Bruno 6 – 17 – 1-800-868-3405

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani – Foxtrot – After she was ditched on the Bachelor, she came in 3rd on DWTS. Yeah, she was a pretty big ringer in her season. She’s obviously had dance training. Carrie Ann says, “You have the most equisite lines. You have to have more body contact.” Len says, “A little bit theatrical for me.” Bruno says, “On the hold it has to have more body contact, but overall, excellent.” – Carrie Ann – 7, Len – 7, Bruno 7 – 21 – 1-800-868-3406

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff – Cha cha cha – Olympic speed skater won his season and hes’s SURE he’ll win again! Somehow, I was expecting more. Len says, “It wasn’t a gold medal performance. Needed a bit more hip action. You came out and sold it.” Bruno, “You were buzzing you eager beaver. Side extensions of the arms were exquisite. That looked great. Carrie Ann says, “Did you just get 3000 times more sexy? Great hip action. Very nice.” Carrie Ann – 7.5, Len 0 7, Bruno 0 7.5 – 22 – 1-800-868-3407

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd – Foxtrot – Gilles is SO HOT! I’m glad he’s back. A very smooth and elegant dance. Now, THIS is a Foxtrot! Bruno says, “Technically so good, can I see it again.” Carrie Ann says, “That was poetic and gorgeous.” Len says, “You had a sophistication about you. You did a terrific job.” – Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 8, Bruno – 8 – 24 – 1-800-868-3410

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas – Cha cha cha – She was a really terrible dancer, but got further than usual because of her mom and the tea party, who came out to vote. I’m kind of bummed they brought her back. She’s improved a little, but she looks alternately stiff and floppy (what’s with her arms?). Carrie Ann says, “You’re most improved. You’re confident and sassy!” Len says, “Far more confident. You’ve got great legs. You’re arms have to be more fluid.” Bruno says, “You were getting it! You have to keep the focus. Power and focus.” Carrie Ann – 6.5 Len 0 6.5, Bruno – 6.5 – 19.5 – 1-800-868-3409

Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya – Foxtrot – He won Season 2, beating Anna and her partner Jim Rice! Well. That was just a’ight. Didn’t bowl me over. Len says, “It was all a bit too hard and frenetic.” Len says, “You look like you danced together forever. Sometimes you stiffen up. But I loved it.” Carrie Ann says, “Your neck was the longest I’ve ever seen. Sometimes it gets a little rigid. I want to see it firm, but not rigid.” ALRIGHTY THEN. – Carrie Ann – 7, Len – 7, Bruno – 7.5 – 21.5 – 1-800-868-3408

Kelly Monaco and Val – Cha cha cha – She won the FIRST season of DWTS!  I didn’t watch that season, so I have no idea. She’s a very confident and sensual dancer. Bruno says, “Sexier and hotter than ever. You were a stunner!” Carrie Ann says, “Kelly you two have insane chemistry. It’s ridiculous. Straighten your legs a little more.” Len says, ‘She wasn’t as good Season 1. Choreography was terrific. Lower those shoulder. But. Loved it–well done.” – Carrie Ann – 7, Len – 7 Bruno – 7.5 – 21.5 – 1-800-868-3411

Kirstie Alley and Maks – Foxtrot – Kirstie came in second her season, and it’s hard to beleive because she’s not that great here. Maks is nice to look at. Carrie Ann says, “You have the most beautiful sensual quality when you dance. It was beautiful. You didn’t turn it all the way up to full speed.” Len says, “You’ve got to lift up your rib cage. It needed refining.” Bruno says, “You’re always emotive. But, Len made a strong point.” – Kirstie plants a BIG KISS on Tom! “That’s for your EMMY!” she says. – Carrie Ann – 6.5, Len – 6, Bruno – 6.5 – 19 – 1-800-868-3412

Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke – Cha cha cha – He’s the Season 3 champion! Well, he’s got game! Check out those hips. WOW. Loads of charisma too. Len says, “You can’t teach flair. The last dance and the best.” Bruno says, “That was the essence of uplifting fun.” Cheryl says, “You are born to dance.” – Cheryl – 8, Len – 8.5, Bruno – 8 0 24.5 – 1-800-868-3413
