BTS is the K-Pop band that has become a world-wide sensation – just not on your radio. Not satisfied for dominating the social charts for weeks/months/years, BTS scores its third number one album on the BB200. “Map of the Soul: Persona” is actually their third number one in less than 11 months (they are a well-oiled machine). Recently, only Glee (1.75 months) and Future (6.75 months) has accomplished that faster (in the past, the Monkees did it in 9.75 months). BTS moved 230K equivalent albums and 196K in traditional albums of “Map of the Soul: Persona”.
Over on the Hot 100, Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” celebrates its third week at the top of the chart. BTS makes it into the top 10 with their Halsey collaboration.
