The fan-voted contest was described in promotional materials as “…designed to support unsigned and independent artists.” The winner was determined by votes cast via social media. Back in March, Christina was chosen as one of 25 semi-finalists in the contest. She explained to her fans how to vote in this You Tube video. Fifty votes a day were permitted.
After her fans propelled her to the Top, Christina explained the next round of voting. Even more spamming, ya’ll. Some of those timelines must have been messy!
Christina found out this morning that she won, and thanks her fans.
Congratulations Christina! The singer expressed her happiness on twitter as well.
