A collection of 10 songs, Christina reportedly had a tattoo of the phrase “All is Vanity.”

On the anniversary of her death, there were vigils across the world, including at the Plaza Live, the club where she was killed:

A little more than two dozen of those fans gathered outside the venue Saturday and lit candles. They talked about her last show, her angelic voice and the gunfire they all thought was the popping of balloons, which led to many of them frantically trying to escape the concert.

“Honestly, it’s hard to be back here,” said Danielle Hendrix, 23. “It’s a little bittersweet because since she was killed here, many of us feel closer to her at the Plaza.”
