Celebrity Apprentice 2015 Live Recap – Episodes 10 and 11

Tonight two new episodes of The Celebrity Apprentice airs on NBC. Which two celebrities will Mr. Trump send packing tonight? Read a live recap of the episodes here.

Last week Sig Hansen and Kate Gosselin were fired, and seven contestants are left standing. Which two will be fired tonight. Let’s find out.

In the hotel suite, Team Infinity believes they are better off without Kenya. Ian admits she is a strong player, but the dynamic is better with her gone. In a confessional, Kenya says that she came to play the game and not to make friends.

The contestant meet Mr. Trump, his sons Eric and Don Jr.,l and executives of King’s Hawaiian at the International Center of Photography to learn about their next task. They must create a King’s Hawaiian photo-bomb campaign that highlights the brand. They also must create their own hashtags and present their photo-bomb campaigns. The executives will pick the winner. Johnny will be the project manager for Team Infinity and Kenya will be the project manager for Team Vortex. In a confessional, Vivica says that she is worried about Kenya being the project manager and calls her a snake in the grass.

The teams get to brainstorming. At Team Infinity, Brandi comes up with a “we rise to the occasion” concept. Ian uses his connections to get a helicopter for their task. At Team Vortex, Kenya is trying to clear the air with Vivica. She wants to reset and start fresh, but Vivica says in a confessional that she doesn’t buy what Kenya is saying. Kenya comes up with a risqué idea to have the Hawaiian rolls superimposed over models’ bottoms. The concept is to have buns over buns.

At Team Vortex, Johnny and Ian get into the helicopter to take pictures of New York City from the sky. They snap plenty of pictures of New York City’s landmarks to use in their campaign. Meanwhile, Team Vortex are on the streets of New York City to snap pictures. Kenya annoys Vivica by delegating her to be Kenya’s assistant and saying she’s not thin enough to be included in the campaign. In a confessional, Kenya says that Vivica’s talents are limited and that she wasn’t even needed to get the task completed. Vivica is completely ignored while Kenya and Geraldo snap pictures for their campaign.

Back at Team Infinity, they are editing their photos. Leeza gets worried that their brand integration is not strong enough in their campaigns. It’s not obvious that it’s King’s Hawaiian that is being highlighted, and she wants to fix that. Meanwhile, while Team Vortex is editing their photos, Vivica thinks their campaign is too “cartoony” and doubts the executives will be impressed. Also, her phone goes missing.

The next morning, it is presentation time. Johnny is nervous about his presentation and admits to having a stuttering problem since childhood. After he starts off the presentation, he allows Leeza to take over and do the rest of the presentation. Brandi and Ian also participate in the presentation toward the end when showing their campaign images. Team Vortex presents next. While presenting their edgy campaign, it’s clear that the executives (as well as Eric and Don Jr.) are not very impressed. One of the executives looked especially uncomfortable throughout the presentation.

It’s time for the boardroom. Mr. Trump asks Johnny who was his star, and he says it was Leeza. The rest of the team praises Johnny as the project manager, and Johnny says they are a strong team. Mr. Trump talks to Kenya next. She praises Geraldo, but does not speak highly of Vivica. Kenya talks about their concept and is confident it was a good idea. Mr. Trump asks Vivica her thoughts on Kenya as a project manager. She says she started off well, but she was bothered how Kenya ignored her throughout the task.

So who won? Although Team Infinity’s hashtags were not the greatest, the executives were very bothered by Team Vortex’s overall concept of using women’s bottoms. Therefore, Team Infinity wins again!

In the boardroom, Mr. Trump notes how Team Vortex has now lost five tasks in a row. Vivica says that the concept was all Kenya’s idea, so she should be fired. Kenya stands up for herself and claims that she has always been nice to Vivica. Vivica retorts by saying that that’s not true at all and the two of them start to get heated and speak loudly over one another. Kenya says that Vivica is emotionally unstable and then says that Vivica tweeted about going through menopause. Vivica then gets even more heated and calls Kenya a “toxic trick”. There are a lot of personal insults flying between Kenya and Vivica. Vivica says that she never tweeted about being menopausal, and Don Jr. even pulls out his phone to check if Vivica really tweeted that. It turns out there is a tweet on Vivica’s Twitter account about being menopausal, but Vivica asserts she never tweeted that. Vivica then remembers that her phone was stolen. Vivica is livid now and says that Kenya stole her phone. Kenya denies it, but it’s clear Vivica did not tweet about being menopausal. Mr. Trump even starts to consider that Kenya did in fact steal Vivica’s phone. It’s very obvious that Kenya did steal Vivica’s phone, but Kenya continues to deny that she did even though everyone in the boardroom is suspicious how she was able to mention that specific tweet. Mr. Trump then gets back to the task and says that Kenya’s ideas lost them the task. Mr. Trump fires Kenya Moore! Kenya kisses up to Mr. Trump one more time and tries to speak to Vivica, but Vivica is heated and does not want to hear what Kenya has to say. She is extremely angry about Kenya stealing her phone. She calls Kenya one of the most selfish and toxic people she has ever met.

Vivica and Geraldo go into the hotel suite where Team Infinity are waiting. Vivica tells them about Kenya stealing her phone and they react strongly to that. Vivica and Geraldo are now the only team members left on Team Vortex.

It’s time for the next task. The contestants meet Mr. Trump, Eric, Joan Rivers, and an executive of Anheuser-Busch to learn their next task. They must create a jingle for Bud Lite. Mr. Trump asks Geraldo who he would like to have on Team Vortex and he names Leeza. Leeza goes over to Team Vortex. As well, Leeza will be the project manager for Team Vortex. Brandi will be the project manager for Team Infinity.

While brainstorming, Geraldo wants a Latin sounding jingle. Leeza suggests a more rowdy tune that suits a football party. Geraldo comes up with a “nice over ice” lyric that Leeza and Vivica approve of. At Team Infinity, Ian wants to sequester himself to not be distracted by everyone else singing to themselves. Brandi notes in a confessional how egotistical Ian is and how off-putting he is when he acts like his ideas are always much superior than everyone else’s. Ian then pitches his jingle, and no one is impressed. Johnny writes music and has a lot of musical friends, and Brandi wants him to write the jingle. However, Ian keeps pushing his ideas and Brandi is very annoyed by him. In her confessionals, Brandi continuously mentions how irritating Ian’s egotism is. When Johnny is about to present his song, Brandi notes how Ian was just pouting that things weren’t going his way. Ian asks if he should work on graphics, but Brandi wants to hear Johnny’s song first. “So we should just sit here and do nothing?” Ian remarks. This annoys Brandi, and she gets angry and calls Ian out for being very condescending. The two get into a heated argument, which ends with Brandi saying she just wants Ian to shut up.

At Team Vortex, Vivica praises Leeza as project manager in her confessional. She notes how she can handle Geraldo since he knows Leeza is not a pushover. They get their jingle completed and are feeling confident about it. Back at Team Infinity, Brandi chooses Johnny’s jingle. Ian is obviously bothered by that decision and says that Johnny’s jingle is too complicated for a thirty second jingle.

It’s presentation day. Leeza kicks off Team Vortex’s presentation. They then sing their jingle with choreographed dance moves. Eric, Joan Rivers, and the executive from Anheuser-Busch seem very impressed and enjoyed the jingle. Team Infinity presents next. They sing their jingle too. The tune is slower and has more words than Team Vortex’s, but Eric, Joan, and the executive seem to enjoy their jingle too.

It’s time for the contestants to gather in the boardroom. Mr. Trump asks Leeza if she finally got Team Vortex a win. She says that they would’ve won without her; she is confident they won this task. Vivica speaks highly of Leeza as a project manager and says she has a lot of respect for her. Leeza says her experience on Team Vortex was a positive one. Mr. Trump talks to Brandi next. She is confident they won, but tells Mr. Trump that Ian is difficult to work with since he gets angry if his ideas are not chosen. Mr. Trump asks Johnny what their jingle was, which creates a very awkward scene with Johnny and Brandi have trouble remembering the words to their jingle. Mr. Trump notes how that’s not a good sign.

So who won? Joan Rivers tells Team Infinity that the jingle had too many words and the use of the word “señorita” was bothersome since it makes it seem like the brand is directed only to men. Eric tells Team Vortex that the executives loved their jingle and that there were no negatives. Therefore, Team Vortex wins!

While Team Vortex celebrates in the boardroom, Mr. Trump asks Brandi what happened. He asks who should be fired. She says it should be Ian or herself; she says Johnny should not be fired. Brandi says that Ian is too condescending. Ian sings his jingle to Mr. Trump, but Mr. Trump quickly notes how the tune is identical to the song “La Cucaracha.” Mr. Trump gives him a hard time for claiming he had a better single, but he just copied a tune from a popular song. They are spending a lot of time about Ian wanting to use the tune from “La Cucaracha.” Mr. Trump is extremely bothered by Ian saying they would’ve won if they used his jingle, but they couldn’t legally use it. Mr. Trump fires Ian Ziering. However, Mr. Trump is not done yet. Someone else will be fired.

Mr. Trump asks Brandi her thoughts. She stands up for herself, but she cannot say a bad thing about Johnny. Johnny also has nice words to say about Brandi. Mr. Trump continuously hints that Johnny is the reason why they lost even though Brandi wouldn’t admit it. Mr. Trump fires Johnny Damon. But he’s still not done! Since she was the project manager, Mr. Trump fires Brandi Glanville. After winning five tasks in a row, Ian, Johnny, and Brandi are all fired after one loss. This leaves the Final 3 to be Leeza Gibbons, Vivica Fox, and Geraldo Rivera.
