Monday Ratings: The Sing-Off, Dancing With the Stars Fall

Sads. The ratings news is horrible for The Sing Off. It fell 11% from last week to a series low. Only an average of 4.8M viewers tuned into to this compulsively watchable (I think it is) show. It will probably be replaced by an edition of The Voice in 2012.

Dancing with the Stars fell in double digits from it’s premiere.

Tuesday’s TV ratings: Both Glee and Dancing With The Stars fell in double digits from their 2010 premieres.

Ouch.

The FOX show The New Girl is off to a great start, increasing it’s Glee lead in and allowing FOX to win the night.

Last night’s ratings are in, and the news isn’t good for The Sing-Off. Dancing with the Stars has solid numbers, but it’s down from the show’s 2010 fall premiere.

Two and a Half Men is the real story here, pulling in MONSTER ratings.

The Dancing with the Stars cast will officially be unveiled during Bachelor Pad tonight (ugh. I guess I’ll have to watch), but reportedly, the list has already been spoiled.

Via Pure DWTS and @DWTSGossip, here is the list. Remember, these aren’t official. We won’t know the cast for reals until they are announced tonight. I’ll start a separate post for the official unveiling.

Dancing With The Stars Cast Announced 8/29 (Plus, I’m Looking for Help)

The new Dancing with the Stars cast will be revealed on August 29 during an episode of “Bachelor Pad”. Kill. Me. Now. Dancing premieres Monday Sept 19.

Here’s where I fall into a dilemma. I plan to live blog The Sing-Off on NBC which will run opposite Dancing. Two things can happen here: Either I post a recap of Dancing, with video later (similar to how I’ve been handling AGT) or a volunteer(s) could take over live blogging the show.

So, I am officially looking for volunteers to live blog Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance. I’ve never been comfortable live blogging these shows anyway, because my knowledge of dance is pretty non-existent (which I’m sure most of you have figured out by now).
