I attended the July 31, 2011, St. Louis, American Idols Live concert. To begin, I’ll say that I am probably not a typical fan. I have never seriously followed American Idol before this year. In past years, I stayed only informed enough to discuss the performers with my eighty-year old mother, who has loved the show from the start. However, this year, as I viewed some auditions online, I was introduced to Casey Abrams and was immediately hooked.
