6th Update: Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis present Top Vocal Duo award to Brooks and Dunn.
5th Update: Brad Paisley won Top Male Vocalist of the year, after singing “Water” and dunking himself in a hot tub! It’s his 4th consecutive win.
4th Update: Carrie, dressed in flowing lavender dress, sang a gorgeous, emotional “Temporary Home” and got choked up after Reba presented her with a special “Triple Crown” award for winning Best New Artist, Best Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the year.

2nd Update: Song of the Year goes to “Need You Now” – Lady Antebellum (Lady A also won Single of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year. They’re killing it)

Will Carrie Underwood snag Entertainer of the Year award for a second year in a row at tonight’s Academy of Country Music Awards? If she does, she’ll be the only woman to capture the prize twice.
Carrie is up for 6 awards altogether: Entertainer of the Year, as artist and composer for Song of the Year for “Cowboy Casanova”, Vocal Event of the Year with Randy Travis for “I Told You So”, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for Play On.

Rival Taylor Swift is nominated for five awards, including her first nod for Entertainer of the Year. Artist and composer for Song of the Year for “You Belong With Me, ” for which she is also nominated for Video of the Year and she also received a nomination for Top Female Vocalist.
Danny Gokey will attend the ceremony after working the Orange Carpet for GAC TV. Felicia Barton just tweeted that Season 9 Top 24 contestant, Haeley Vaughn is in the audience.
