It turns out that Carrie Underwood is a pretty good softball player, as she landed one of the biggest plays of the game at Wednesday night 19th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge with an RBI double for her Grand Ole Opry team.
Carrie’s team went on to defeat the competing After MidniteTeam 11-5.
The softball challenge, an annual charity event to help benefit City of Hope, a comprehensive cancer center, is one of the events that kicks off the big CMA Music Festival, beginning today in Nashville.
