Carly Smithson and We Are the Fallen Begin Tour in March

Season 7 Idol, Carly Smithson and her band, We Are The Fallen are set to tour, opening for Findland hard rock band, HIM.

We are the Fallen are made up of Carly, and ex-members of the band Evanescence, and were signed by Universal Records in October. The band is scheduled to release an album this year.

  1. Good for Carly. Seems like a good match based on the image they are projecting so far. I don’t know H.I.M.’s music, but a lot of black to go around between to two groups, for sure, lol.

  2. This is such great news for Carly and the guys!! Can’t wait for the tour and their album.

  3. I find the name of her band to be really awkward – it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.

  4. The non-demo remastered rejigged to vibe with the rest of the album version of Bury Me Alive will be available for digital download (ITunes, Amazon, etc.) on February 2nd, then will impact radio on March 1st.

    Album apparently shortly after.

  5. I hope Carly finds success with this band. They seem to fit her vibe.

I also hope the band gives us some good music. I like AI but so many alums come out with music that just aren’t my thing (which why I don’t buy a lot of alums’ albums). This seems to fit a bit closer to what I would normally listen to.

  6. Awesome! I love H.I.M.! sylvanaire, it stands for His Infernal Majesty, if that gives you any idea of the music. Kinda like Marylin Manson, but less creepy.

I might be able to make the PA show. Technically, I might be able to make the NYC show, too, and it is the closest one to me, but there’s no way in hell I’m driving into NYC, so I’ll try for the PA one. Hopefully I won’t have to work that weekend.

  7. That’s awesome!! So glad Carly and the band are getting started. Wishing them the best! And they are coming to Houston! I’ll have to check them out if I can.

  8. I can’t wait to see her live. She was one of favorites season 7. I love the rocker chicks.

  9. Too bad I won’t be able to see her live, but I know she’s going to rock. This is the perfect gig for her and I hope she finds success doing it. YOU ROCK CARLY!
