Other than 20/20 with Diane Sawyer, and the ESPY awards, Caitlyn Jenner hasn’t been doing much television since she announced her transition a few months ago. But now, she sits with Ellen Degeneres on the season premiere of her talk show.
She talks about the lessons she’s learned in the past few months, as she navigated uncharted waters, becoming her “authentic self.” She doesn’t really regret not transitioning sooner. “For me it wasn’t the time,” Caitlyn said about halting her transition in the late 80s.
In this clip, Caitlyn talks about dating and sexuality. Will she date women or men? She doesn’t really say. She also admits that she used to be against gay marriage. Ellen kinda calls her out on it. But ultimately, Caitlyn says, “I don’t want to stand in the way of somebody’s happiness.”
Caitlyn talks about her family, and whether she misses “Bruce” or not. She still does all the “manly” stuff Bruce enjoyed. She still plays golf from the men’s tees.
