Season 7 Idols Brooke White and Michael Johns will be hitting the road together in September for a month long tour beginning September 17 in Pomona, CA to promote their new albums.
Brooke White’s High Hopes & Heartbreak debuted as an iTunes pre-release at #47 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, #7 on the Independent Albums chart and #6 on the Digital albums chart. The disc has initially sold over 20K copies and 130K in single sales.
Michael Johns album, Hold Back My Heart, debuted debuted at number 97 on the Billboard 200 and number 12 on the Top Independent Albums.
Both albums were produced by David Cobb (Chris Cornell, Shooter Jennings). Brooke’s album was executive produced by Idol judge Randy Jackson.
Earlier this year, Michael and Brooke recorded the duet ‘Life is OK’ for the soundtrack to the Shaun White documentary, Don’t Look Down.
