- Idol albums on the Billboard 200 had a nice little bounce this week–except for Blake Lewis Audio Day Dream, sales down -27% this week. (161 (118) BB200). The others: Daughtry Daughtry, up 6.4% (19 (20)) Carrie Underwood Carnival Ride up 5.3% (22(24)) Jordin Sparks Jordin Sparks up 0.2%–tiny bounce, but she’s hanging in there. (49 (48)), Carrie Underwood Some Hearts up 15% (58 (57)). Daughtry keeps going and going…Daughtry sales are higher than Carnival Ride, both selling 21K and 20K respectively this week.
- Carrie Underwood’s label has announced that her Digital single, “Before He Cheats” has gone Double Platinum, and is the first country song to do so. Congrats Carrie!
- Daughtry’s latest single, “Feels Like Tonight” debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 at #89. It’s #52 on the Pop 100, #39 on the Pop 100 Airplay and #18 on Hot Adult Top 40.
- Another Season 6 alumni enters the charts. Phil Stacey’s new single “If You Didn’t Love Me” debuts on the Hot Country Songs chart at #55. Whoo hoo Phil!
- Carrie Underwood’s single, “All-American Girl” has debuted on the Hot Digital Songs Chart at #72.
- Jordin Spark’s single “No Air” enters the Canadian charts at #61 on both The Hot Canadian Digital Singles and Hot Canadian 100 charts.
